The first story, Miss Ann Gree, slowly began to take shape as Jennie imagined a fiery little monster who felt angry... a lot. The concept resonated deeply with her passion for social-emotional learning, and she knew she had the foundation for something special.
As she began to share her vision with colleagues and friends, the dream of turning the idea into a published children’s book started to feel real. The next challenge was finding the right illustrator—someone who could bring her characters to life just as she saw them in her mind. His sketch of Miss Ann Gree captured the exact personality and emotion Jennie had envisioned, and their collaboration became the heart of the debut book and the beginning of a much bigger series to come.
